Tally Wade has been the Coordinator and an instructor in the Public Safety Communications program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University since 1996. She brings her previous 19 years of experience in police communications and strong commitment to the development of professional standards for public safety communications into the classroom. Tally has been involved in the development, academic review and update of all course textbooks, as well as being external reviewer for Pearson Publishing.

Tally’s academic achievements include a Certificate in Police Leadership from Dalhousie University, Instructor Diploma Program (BC) with post-secondary endorsement, and a Master of Education (M.Ed. Leadership) from Simon Fraser University. She is a trained facilitator and has worked with RCMP and industry in professional development workshops with Appreciative Inquiry, teambuilding and communication.

Tally is active in the International Instructional Skills Workshop network, giving her the opportunity to travel to Chile to teach at the Universidad Arturo Prat.
